New, open, delete layout
Opens the layout manager, in which new layouts can be created, opened for editing or deleted.
Close layout
Closes the currently opened layout.
Close all layouts
Closes all currently opened layouts.
Import / export layout

Publish layout / Publish layout with history
Saves the layout currently open on the workspace to the server. Further information can be found here.
Create entry in layout history
Changes that have been saved but not entered in the layout history can be subsequently added to the history here.
Save layout locally
The layout can be saved to an accessible local directory of your choice, or to the network as a layout file with the ending .ixcla.
Administer browser rules
Opens a dialog in which the browser rules can be edited.

Edit
Depending on the element that is currently selected, various menu items are available in this menu.
Copy
Copies the currently highlighted element to the clipboard.
Insert
Paste the contents of the clipboard to the workspace.
Delete
Deletes the currently selected element.
Copy CSS property
Copy the style properties for the currently highlighted element from the stylesheet to the clipboard.
Paste CSS properties
Overwrites the CSS properties of the highlighted element with the CSS properties on the clipboard.
Add CSS rule
Opens a dialog in which you can define your own CSS rules.
Insert new level
Opens a dialog in which a new layer can be created.
Create snapshot
Creates a snapshot of the current layout.
Edit stylesheet
In this menu you will find further menu items that can be used to edit the stylesheets of a layout in the stylesheet editor.

Edit layout styles
Opens the editor for editing the entire stylesheet.

Edit user-defined styles
You have the option to define your own styles here.
If you make changes to stylesheets, you should have sound specialist knowledge. Errors in the stylesheets can impair the portal's performance. All CSS rules defined in this stylesheet override Intrexx styles if the selector name of Intrexx styles is used for user-defined styles. The style properties of all rules can be modified in the styles for the layout, calendar and calendar navigator. However, it is not possible to add a new rule or to modify existing selectors. Even your comments will not be saved.

Edit user-defined styles for print version
Opens the stylesheet in which CSS rules for printing pages can be defined from the browser menu "Print". These rules are appended to the "print.css" stylesheet.
Settings for the print output of Intrexx pages can be changed in the layout properties on the "Print" tab.

Edit Image@2x Styles
In this stylesheet, styles can be defined for optimizing images that are presentend on retina displays.
Properties
This menu item opens the properties dialog of an element that is selected in the Layout structure area.
Add control element
Opens a dialog in which a new control element can be created with the corresponding CSS rules. To do this, the desired type (e.g. text or button) must be selected in the Control elements area.
If you create new controls from the Applications module via the Edit / Edit layout main menu, please ensure that you use unique titles throughout the portal. A title may not appear in another application of the current portal.
Add empty control element
Opens a dialog in which a new control element can be created that does not contain any predefined rules apart from a class selector. To do this, the desired type (e.g. text or button) must be selected in the Control elements area.
Details
Opens a dialog in which information on the current layout is displayed. This menu is only active if the expert options are activated.
View
The individual areas of the Design module and the ruler at the edge of the workspace can be shown or hidden here.
Restore default view
Rearranges all areas to the original view.

Opens a dialog in which all images of the current layout can be managed.
