Search - Synonyms

Use synonyms to enter and manage alternative search terms – e.g. so that search hits are still returned for misspelled words or differing abbreviations.
For each activated portal language, buttons are displayed in the upper area which can be used to manage synonyms in the respective language.
Synonym lists
Enter the synonyms here, separated by commas. Click on the 
button to create a new line for a new list. Click on the 
button to delete the currently selected line.
Replace terms
In the table below the "Synonym lists" table, terms can be entered in the first column that are replaced in a search with the terms that can be entered in the second column. Click on the button to create a new line for a new list. Click on the button to delete the currently selected line.
Import / Export
Clicking these buttons in the lower area opens a dialog in which synonym lists can be exported or imported. Click here for more information.
Apply
Saves all changes.
Reset
Restores the state to which changes were last applied.
