Exporting and Importing User-Defined Attributes
Custom attributes, known as additional fields, can be created in the "Users" module using the Schema Manager to capture additional user data. You can find the additional attributes in your user account under the "Additional Attributes" tab.
If you import applications that contain references to additional attributes, after the overview page where you selected the application for import, you will be taken to a dialog box for mapping the attributes.
Assign Custom Attributes
Here, attributes referenced by the import application can be mapped to attributes that exist in the target portal. If necessary, you can also create new attributes in the target portal from here in order to assign them later.
Open Schema Manager
Opens the Schema Manager, where new classes and attributes can be created if the user has the appropriate permissions.
"Usage" Column
Clicking "Information" under "
" displays the application from which the attribute or class originates.
"Class" column
Displays the name of the class from the export application.
"Title" column
Displays the attribute's title.
"DB Column Name" column
Displays the column name of the attribute.
"Type" column
Displays the data type of the attribute.
"Assignment" Column
Displays the associated attribute. Classes and attributes that have the same object name in the target system are automatically mapped to the corresponding classes and attributes, provided that the types match.
User-defined attributes in the target system
Opens a dialog box where the assignment can be made manually.
If you use the table name of the attribute from the source portal, the new and old attributes will be automatically mapped during the import.

Select the desired additional attribute here.
Missing Classes
This information dialog box appears in two cases:
1. Importing an application with references to the user application
All attributes that exist in the portal but not in the user application are listed. If the current user has sufficient permissions and the user application is not open, the "Available in other modules" option is enabled for these attributes during the import, so that these fields are available in the user application and the import can be performed.
2. Importing the User Application
This dialog box appears if the import cannot be performed because the user application to be imported does not contain all the classes and attributes from the current portal.
