License Management
The License Management application template gives you an overview of software contracts that are about to expire or need to be renewed, the individual costs of the software, and the total costs. To learn how to import the template, see: Importing Online Application Templates.
Roles
Roles are automatically created when the template is imported.
App_LicenseManager_User
As a member of this role, you have access to the Overview page, where you can view all software licenses assigned to you, and to the Request Software/Subscription page. You can request software and view the requests you have submitted. It also shows which requests still require consultation with the person who approved the request.
App_LicenseManager_Editor
Members of this role also have access to the " Request License Assignments " page and the corresponding permissions.
App_LicenseManager_Manager
With this role, you have access to all pages of the application. You can approve requests and license assignments, create external users and license packages, and keep track of costs. In addition, the role includes all permissions from the App_LicenseManager_User and App_LicenseManager_Manager roles.
