Form Wizard

The Form Wizard helps you set up existing pages, for example, when you have created a blank page in the application.

You can access the wizard—provided the page is selected in the application structure—via the context menu or the "New" option in the main menu.

In situations where the "New" main menu option is not available, you can access it via the "Edit" main menu.

Select the type of checks

If you launch the Form Wizard from an input page, you can decide in the first step whether to create input or view controls on the page. If it is launched from a view page, the dialog for selecting the desired elements is displayed immediately in the first step.

Input Elements / View Elements

Here, you can select or create data fields from the application and the data group in which the new elements are to be created.

Create a data field

Opens a dialog box where you can create new data fields in the current data group.

Add a check

Opens a dialog box where you can select existing data fields.

Remove Checkmark

Removes the currently selected item from the list.

Move up / down

Moves the selected item in the list up or down.

Control Type

Here, you can select the control type to be used to display the control's content in the browser.

Click "Finish." The page layout is automatically converted to a table-less layout.

On the page, you'll find the corresponding elements arranged in a grid.
