User groups and users

A brand new portal comes with some user groups and users.

Members of the "Administrators" user group have full access to all settings in the portal and all portal rights. The "Administrator" user is a member of the group. If he is no longer assigned to this group, his rights expire.

User group "User"

Members of the "Users" user group have access to the "Home" and "Extras" menu items in the newly created portal. They also have read access to the "Users" application (telephone list and organization chart) and the "Global search" application. They are also authorized for Intrexx Share Chat.

Administrator" user

The "Administrator" user has all the rights of the "Administrators" user group as long as he is a member of this group.

User "Anonymous"

Users who are not logged in have rights to the "Home" menu item in a newly created portal.

All information described here refers to a portal that was created with the standard portal template for an empty portal. The permissions of already defined users and user groups in other portal templates may differ from those described here.
