Select members or participants

In many Intrexx Share modules, you'll find the "Distribution List Selection" feature, which allows you to select members (e.g., of a project), participants (e.g., of an event), or recipients (e.g., of posts). You can find a general explanation of the distribution panel selection functions here.

In Intrexx Share, the distribution list selection area above the lists of selectable members or participants contains a series of buttons—the selection filters—that can be used to filter the list by the following entries:

Intrexx Share Users
Intrexx Share Contacts
Intrexx Share Group
Intrexx Users
Intrexx User Groups
Intrexx Distribution Lists
Intrexx Organizational Units
Intrexx Roles

Members of an Intrexx Share group, as well as members of a user object from Intrexx User Management, are automatically synchronized when Intrexx Share groups or Intrexx user objects are used as distribution lists in Intrexx Share modules. You can find all the information here.

Edit Selection Filter Button

The selection filter that the Intrexx Share distribution list uses to filter users is implemented using the "Multiple Selection" application element. General information about this element can be found here.

Multiple selection is set to "Distribution Selection" in this case. You can find the Intrexx Share user objects in the selection filter.

If an Intrexx Share user object is selected in the list, clicking "Edit Selection Filter" ( ) opens a dialog box where you can edit the filter settings.
