To learn how to import this template, see: Importing Online Application Templates.

Roles and Rights

After the import, you'll find three new roles in User Management.

App_Blog_User

Members of this role can read articles on the Overview and All Articles pages.

App_Blog_Editor

Members of this role have all the rights of the App_Blog_User role. In addition, you can create and edit multilingual articles on the " Manage Articles " page.

App_Blog_Manager

Members of this role have all the rights of the App_Blog_Editor role. In addition, you can create and edit images, tags, categories, and authors on the " Administration " page.

Add your users as members of one of these roles to grant them the appropriate application permissions.

Manage Items

Editors and managers can create articles on the " Manage Articles " page. You can access this page via the application menu of the same name.

Clicking the " Create " button creates a new article.

Enter the title and a brief description here. A Markdown editor is available for the article text. Select the category, tag, author, and, if applicable, related articles from the corresponding drop-down lists, upload an image, and click Save.

The new article will then appear on the Manage Articles page.

The " " button opens a menu that allows you to edit or delete the item. You can create a multilingual article using the " Language " menu option. You can find all the information here.
