Bulletin Board

This app allows you to post any kind of offer or request. To learn how to import the template, see: Importing Online Application Templates.

Roles

Roles are automatically created when the template is imported.

App_BulletinBoard_User

As a member of this role, you have access to the "Listings" and" My Listings" pages. On these pages, you can post ads and classifieds.

App_BulletinBoard_Manager

This role allows you to manage categories and types on the Administration page. In addition, it includes all the permissions of the App_Calendar_User role.

Create Ads

On the app's home screen, click " Create."

Here you can select " Search" or " Offer ." Then enter all other details for the ad. You can upload a thumbnail and additional images for the listing. Click Save.

You can edit or delete your own listings on the " My Listings " page. When you hover over it with the mouse, the " " button appears , which opens the input page.

Expired Listings

The date in the " Valid Until " field determines the duration of the ad. Expired ads are no longer displayed on the " Ads " page. On the " My Listings " page, they are displayed in gray. An expired ad can be reactivated by updating the " Valid Until " date accordingly.

Intrexx automatically checks every 20 minutes to see if a listing has expired.

Administration

On the " Administration " page, you can create new categories or types by clicking " Create ."

To edit an existing category or type, click " " and then " Edit."

The ID can consist of any characters. Once saved, the ID cannot be changed.

To delete a category or type, you must first deactivate it. The system then checks whether there are any entries that still reference that category or type. If not, the category or type will be automatically deleted at regular intervals. Disabled categories and types can no longer be selected.

Additional language variants can be created for existing categories and types. This allows the category or type to be translated into another language. You can find all the information on this topic here: Multilingualism.
