Manage global search in the portal

The "Global search" system application can be used to search for search terms throughout the portal. You will find the application in every newly created portal under the "Extras" menu.

The global search can also be accessed via the additional "Search" control. This additional control can be found in the elements of the "Design" module. The additional "Search" control can be positioned anywhere in the layout - i.e. independently of the portal menu. Further information can be found here.
