Filter - Value range

The "Value Range" element is part of the category "Filter" element.

With this type of filter, the lower and upper limits of a value range can be specified. The filter will be used for the data types "Date", "Date & Time", "Integer", "Currency", and "Floating-point number".

It consists of two edit fields where the lower and upper values can be entered. In the above figure, you can see the two input fields of the filter in the browser and below them the view table, which is connected to the filter via a dependency.

The "Value Range" filter can be found in the "Elements" section of the "Applications" module. A new filter can be created by dragging and dropping the element from here and positioning it on the workspace.

The properties dialog of the value range opens automatically when a new value range is created. The properties dialog of an existing filter can be opened by double clicking on the element on the workspace, via the "Properties" context menu, or via the "Edit/Properties" main menu if the filter is selected on the workspace.
