Shortcuts in the Main Menu

In the main menu, most menu item functions can be accessed using shortcuts. You'll find the shortcuts to the right of each menu item.

Log in as an administrator

Pressing the Alt + . (period) key combination enters the word "Administrator" into the "Username" field. This applies both in Portal Manager and in the browser, for example, when logging in to the portal.

Current Date

If a period (.) is entered in a browser input field with the data type Date, Time, or Datetime, the current date is written to the input control when the field is exited.
