Connector for Microsoft 365 and Teams - Overview of the Configuration
Requirements
-
Intrexx Steady Track 10.4.0
-
Connector for Microsoft 365 and Teams with a valid license —the license must be associated with the portal where the connector is registered.
-
Account for Microsoft 365 Business / Personal (with limitations)
Register Intrexx at Microsoft Azure
To access Microsoft 365 from the Intrexx portal, you must first register your Intrexx portal as an app at Microsoft Azure.
By registering Intrexx as an app on Microsoft Azure, Intrexx gains access to Microsoft 365.

For detailed information on registering Intrexx in Microsoft Azure, see the section " Registering the Intrexx Portal as an App in Microsoft Azure."
Set the login from Intrexx to Microsoft 365
To configure user logins for Intrexx users at Microsoft 365, you can set up several options in the Connector for Microsoft 365 and Teams.
-
Sign in to Microsoft 365 via your browser
With this login method, a browser window opens when the portal user performs an action, such as accessing Microsoft 365 data.
If you choose this option, make sure that pop-ups are not blocked in your browser.
-
Log In Using a Static User Account
With this login option, an Intrexx user is assigned a (non-personal) Microsoft 365 user. This ensures that all requests from the Intrexx portal to Microsoft 365 are made via the assigned Microsoft 365 user.
-
Log in using your work account
After you have registered Intrexx as an app in Microsoft Azure, a service account will be available at Microsoft Azure, which you can use to access Microsoft 365.
To log in to Microsoft 365 from Intrexx using the service account, the service account must be assigned to an Intrexx user. When you register the Connector for Microsoft 365 and Teams, Intrexx automatically creates such a mapping. In this process, the administrator is assigned to the service account. However, you can also assign other users to the service account.
Overview of Activities
To ensure that the connection between the Intrexx portal and Microsoft 365 works, you must perform tasks in both Microsoft and Intrexx. With regard to Microsoft, the activities are related to Microsoft Azure. There, you'll need to register your Intrexx portal as an app. The following chart provides an overview of the individual tasks you need to perform in Microsoft Azure and Intrexx:
