MS365 OneDrive Control

Features

When used in combination with the Connector for Microsoft 365 and Teams, the "MS365 OneDrive" control provides an easy way to access Microsoft OneDrive directly from your portal. You will then have access to the standard features of Microsoft OneDrive, such as opening, editing, and searching Microsoft 365 files. You can also use the portal to upload files to Microsoft OneDrive or download files from there.

Complete Drive

This gives you the option to view the contents of your (entire) Drive.

The portal will then display all the folders and files on your Drive. You can open the displayed files directly in Microsoft 365 with a single mouse click. You can open the folders shown by clicking on them.

Folder on Drive

You also have the option to configure the OneDrive control to display the contents of a folder directly. This saves you the trouble of navigating to a specific folder or searching for it.

When you access the corresponding portal page, the contents of the folder are displayed immediately.

Access drives and folders statically or dynamically using a data field

You can access a drive using a data field in a data group. In the data field, enter the ID of the drive and—if necessary—the folder. This allows the drive and folder to be dynamically referenced within the context of a record. For more information on this topic, see the section " MS365 OneDrive - Dynamic Access via Drive ID."

OneDrive - Users, Teams

Microsoft OneDrive It includes more than just a "standard drive" that is available to every user. Due to the integration of Microsoft Cloud Services, in addition to accessing individual drives, you can also access websites and Microsoft Teams groups via the MS365 OneDrive control.

You can access the following "types":

  • My Drive

If you select this value, the Intrexx Portal will display the drive of the user currently logged in to the Intrexx Portal.

  • Group

Select "Group" if you are working with Microsoft 365 groups or Microsoft Teams groups and want to upload the Microsoft 365 files to their Drive.

You can then select the appropriate group, its Drive, and the folder to which you want to upload the Microsoft 365 files.

If you also want to see the documents in the Teams group, you should not select the root folder, but rather the channel name of the destination drive.

  • Website

Select "Website" if you 're working with web pages and want to save the files to a website's drive. You can then select the appropriate website, Drive, and folder to which you want to upload the Microsoft 365 files.

  • User

You can specify a particular Microsoft 365 user whose Drive you want to display. You can also choose to display the contents of a specific folder on Drive.

  • Drive ID

With the "Drive-ID" type, you access a drive by specifying its Drive-ID. You can also access a folder by specifying its folder ID. The drive or folder ID is not stored in the MS365 OneDrive control. Instead, you simply specify in which data field you have stored the drive ID and folder ID in the corresponding data group.

The "Drive-ID" type is available only if the OneDrive control is inserted on a page below a data group.
