The "Wiki" application template provides you with an application that allows portal users to document their knowledge and experience and make it available to all other portal users.

Promotions on the Portal

Add a new (sub)page

In the "Editor" role, you can create pages at the top level and at lower levels.
With the "User" role, you can view all pages.

Step-by-Step

To add a new page, follow these steps:

  1. Click the " " icon.

    The dialog box for creating a new page appears.

  2. Enter the required information.

  3. Click Save.

    The new page will be displayed.

    The page is sorted alphabetically.

Edit Page

With the "Editor" role, you can edit the home page and all other pages.

You can edit a page by clicking "Edit" at .

Delete Page

With the "Editor" role, you can delete all pages.

To delete a page, click the three dots next to the page you want to delete. Then click "Delete" in the context menu.

Confirm the deletion.

Delete Linked Pages

If you delete a page that is linked to from another page, a corresponding warning message will appear.

Click " Delete" if you still want to delete the page.

Link to Pages

You have the option to link pages to one another.

Step-by-Step

To link one page to another, follow these steps:

  1. Place the cursor at the location on a page where you want to insert a link to another page ().

  2. Click "Link to Page" ().

    The "Link to Page" dialog box appears.

  3. Click on the page you want to link to, or on the page that contains the (sub)page you want to link to.

    The page you want to link to and its associated (sub)pages will be displayed.

  4. Click on the page or subpage you want to link to.

  5. Now click "Copy Link."

    The link has now been successfully copied to the clipboard, and you can now paste it into any page using the editor.

Track Changes

You can track who made changes to a page and when.

Click the context menu, then click the " " icon.

The "History" dialog box, containing the relevant information, appears.

Search for information

To find information in the wiki, enter a search term in the search bar.

Click Search or press ENTER.

The pages that contain the search term are then displayed.

You can access the pages directly by clicking on a page you've found.
