E-mail notifications

The "Document management system" application template automatically triggers the sending of an e-mail for some process steps to remind users of required steps or to confirm that process steps have been carried out.

Requirements

Email service

In order for the "Document management system" application template to be able to send emails, the email service must be set up in Intrexx.

Business email

The e-mails are sent to the business e-mail address stored in the user profile.

Process steps with e-mail notification

Below you will find an overview of which user receives an e-mail notification for which process step.

"Editor" creates document. All "Approvers" receive an e-mail notification.
"Approver" releases a document. The "editor" of the document receives an e-mail notification.
"Approver" rejects the release of a document. The "editor" of the document receives an e-mail notification.
"User" (Reader) has not (yet) sent a read confirmation. "User" (reader) receives a reminder email.
"Editor" must create a new version of a document. The "editor" receives a reminder email.
