Creating a Portal - Key Steps
Below is an overview of the key steps you typically need to follow when creating a portal.

There are several options available for creating a portal.

In the general settings, you specify the portal name and the directory where the portal is to be installed, among other things.
|
|
To create a portal, you must select a portal template.
|
|
In this step, you must select the database or database server where the portal data is to be stored.
|
|
For production portals, it is highly recommended to use a front-end web server. By default, you can choose between IIS (Windows) and NGINX (Linux).

|
The portal's search function uses "Solr," the search server from Apache.
|
|
This step displays the settings you have configured. If necessary, you can adjust or change the settings again.
