Chat

With Intrexx Share Chat, you can have real-time conversations.

1. Navigation

You can seamlessly switch to other Intrexx Share modules using the navigation. This is also where the number of unread chat messages that are relevant to you is displayed.

2. Chat

In this section, you'll find all the chats. Unread messages in a chat are marked accordingly.

3. Chat History

You can join the chat here.

Create a Chat

By clicking "New," you can give the chat a name, select the recipients, and write a message.

By selecting the "Recipients may add or remove other people" setting, you allow recipients to modify the distribution list for the current chat.

Options

The "Options" button is located to the right of the "New" button. It displays a menu that allows you to change your online status. Hidden chats can be unhidden.

Administration

Clicking the gear icon opens a menu where you can edit the chat.

Edit

Opens a dialog box where you can edit the chat data.

Hide

Hides the currently selected chat. It can be displayed again via the Options menu.

Notifications

Turns notifications for new chats on or off.

Leave the chat

Participation in the conversation will end. Once all participants have left the chat, the chat will be automatically deleted.

Additional Check

The "Share Messages" add-on displays new messages in the lower-right corner of the browser window when the user is not currently in a chat. You can find more information about the additional inspection here.
