Central steps - process
Below you will find an overview of the key steps that usually need to be carried out during license management. The individual steps must be carried out by different users with the corresponding roles. A detailed description of the individual roles can be found in the Roles and tasks section.

The first step is to create an application for the procurement of software. This can be carried out by any authorized portal user ("user"). When the application is created, it is not yet determined who will use the software. This is only decided in the "Request license assignment" step (see below). In the second step, the application for software is approved or rejected by the "manager". In the next step, the "Editor" requests the assignment of licenses to specific users. Finally, the "Manager" releases the assignment of licenses to specific users. |
