Bonus Points

As a member of the App_ChampionshipBettingGame_Manager role, you can accessthe Bonus Pointspage via the " Manage Prediction Game" option in the application menu.

By answering the questions listed here, contestants have the chance to earn additional points (bonus points). The bonus points are added to the points earned from predictions on individual games.

Bonus questions relate to the teams in the tournament and go beyond simply asking which team will win a particular game. The following bonus questions are suggested:

• Who will win the tournament?

• Who will be the group winner for a particular group?

Click " Edit" on to change a bonus question.

Once the result is determined, it can be entered by clicking " " to enter the result. The players' scores are updated automatically.

Create a bonus question

1. Enter an ID consisting of any characters. Once saved, the ID cannot be changed.

2. Select the language you want. For more information, see here: Add a translation.

3. Enter the bonus question. The bonus question always refers to the teams in the tournament. In other words, only one team from the tournament can be the correct answer.

4. Enter the points that players earn for correctly answering the bonus question.

5. The sorting option controls the order of the bonus questions on the page Bonus Points.

6. Under " Limit Team Selection," select the group to which the bonus question applies.

7. Click Save.
