Versioning and Updating Application Templates

With Intrexx Steady Track 11.8.1, version 1.0.4 of the Intrexx application templates is now available.

Version of the application templates

During the import

You can determine the version of the application template you want to import during the import process at the following location.

Click the " " icon.

After the import

After importing, you can determine which version of the application template you are using in two places.

1. Click on the application. The version is displayed in the right-hand pane.

2. Open the application's Properties (for example, by double-clicking). The version is displayed in the lower-left corner.

Reimport Application Templates

If you are using 8, Intrexx Steady Track 11.8.1, or a later version, and you import an application template, it will automatically be imported as version 1.0.4.

Update Existing Application Templates

Please note the following points if you want to update an existing (imported) application template:

If you have made changes to the application template, those changes will not be applied.

If you have imported an application template multiple times, only the first one imported can be updated.

Step-by-Step

To update an existing (imported) application template, follow these steps:

1. Start the import process (see Import Online Application Templates).

   The "Import" dialog box appears.

2. Uncheck the "Import with application data" checkbox.

3. Select the "Overwrite existing applications" checkbox.

   The "Overwrite existing processes" checkbox is automatically selected.

   

4. Click "Next."

   A dialog box will appear showing you the GUID of the application you want to update.

5. Click "Yes" to confirm the dialog box.

6. Continue the import as usual (see Import Online Application Templates).
