Create portal - Central steps
Below you will find an overview of the main steps that you usually have to take when creating a portal.

In the general settings, assign the portal name and specify the directory in which the portal is to be installed. Read more Portal-specific files are stored in the portal directory. In this step, you must select the database or database server in which the portal data is to be saved. Read more The following databases are available as standard: 1. For productive portals, it is highly recommended to use a front-end web server. By default, you can choose between IIS (Windows) and NGINX (Linux).Read more For test or development portals, you can dispense with a front-end web server and select the "No front-end web server" option.
