IIS (Internet Information Services)

Internet Information Services is a web server developed by Microsoft.

In connection with Intrexx, the IIS under Windows is used as a front-end web server (reverse proxy).

Using a reverse proxy is recommended for numerous reasons. In particular, a reverse proxy allows an existing Windows authentication to be used to access the portal.
