Multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication combines two factors (username and password + SMS/phone/authentication app), which makes it significantly more difficult for third parties to gain unauthorized access. A stolen password alone is no longer enough, so even in the case of successful phishing attacks, access remains blocked if the second factor is missing.
