User synchronization
Most Intrexx Share modules now provide the option to synchronize members (e.g. of a group or an event) with an Intrexx Share group or Intrexx user objects.

Integrate modules into groups
In the future, new or existing events, polls, projects, file folders, and photo albums can be created and embedded in Intrexx Share groups. A tab is displayed within the group for each added object. Users can easily switch between tabs within the group without leaving the group.
The "Module integration" feature replaces the connections feature previously used. The concept has been revised and simplified. More information about these changes is available here.
Module integration enhances group-centered work. All information relevant to the team from other modules is combined in the group and presented in a user-friendly manner, increasing teamwork and efficiency.

New grid layout
Function
The grid has changed across all modules in Intrexx Share 3.2. The navigation is now always positioned on the left by default. The grid has two columns. The "News" module is the only exception. This still has a three-column layout.

New design and new style classes
Function
Intrexx Share has a new design! It is tidier, simpler and more structured. In addition to the new design, customers can also customize the Intrexx Share design to suit their own requirements. With the new style classes in the layout, it is easy to make changes to classes that apply to all areas in Intrexx Share.

It is easier to navigate through Intrexx Share and find relevant content. The design is fully customizable.

Less portlets due to new user interface concept
Function
Intrexx Share 3.2 will include fewer portlets by default. The information from the portlets can be accessed via a new user interface concept.
Benefit
Reducing the number of portlets improves the user experience. Only relevant information is displayed, preventing information overload.
New look & feel of the "Projects" module
Function
The "Projects" module has been substantially redesigned. The redesign focuses on the projects overview, the Kanban board and the project tasks view. In the project overview, the user can in future choose between the four different views:
Tile
Lists
Calendar plugin
Resources
The tasks overview is also available as a Kanban board, tasks list or calendar and can be easily changed.
The backlog is now located underneath the Kanban board.
Benefit
All functions are easy to find and use. This ensures a better user experience. The calendar and resource view displays the project status and use of resources across multiple projects.
Discontinuations
Pokes and birthday wishes
In previous versions, Intrexx Share users could be poked ("Thank you" or "Thumbs up"). This function is no longer supported as of Intrexx Share 3.2.
Reason for discontinuation
This feature was rarely used and is not very Intuitive in design.
Replacement
Birthday wishes and other greetings can now be communicated via Intrexx Share Chat.
Best questions, tags and the like function in the "Help me" module
Questions could be assigned their own tags, which could then be used for filtering. There was also a like function and a "Best questions" portlet that displayed the most liked questions.
Reason for discontinuation
The features were not used very often. It was not clear to the user when the questions would appear in the "Best questions" portlet. The like functionality was not used often, which is why the portlet is then redundant.
Connections and two-way connections between modules
In previous versions, it was possible to create connections to groups, events, photo albums, displays and file folders in the Groups, Events and Photos modules.
The concept has been revised with Intrexx Share 3.2, which is why not all connections are possible as before. The "Connections" portlet is no longer present in any of the modules. It will still be possible to create connections to events, file folders and photo albums from within a group. However, it will no longer be possible to create connections to other modules outside the Groups module. Existing connections will be displayed in the groups after the update. Connections from group to group are an exception to this. Existing two-way connections are no longer listed after the update and can no longer be created.
Reason for discontinuation
The new concept is intended to strengthen teamwork within the groups. All information relevant to a group can be found there at a glance.
Replacement
It will still be possible to create connections to events, file folders and photo albums from within a group. In addition, projects and polls can now be added to groups.
Filebox - View all folders
Previously, there were two views for the Filebox. The "All folders" view will be removed with the update to Intrexx Share 3.2. The "All users" view is still available.
Reason for discontinuation
The number of portlets has been reduced in favor of a simpler user interface.

The "All users" view is still available.
"Planner" module
The "Planner" module is no longer part of the Intrexx Share application package as of Intrexx Share 3.2. Until now, the navigation item could still be added to the Intrexx Share navigation. This is now no longer the case. Officially, the application was already discontinued for Intrexx Share Version 3.0. It has now been completely removed. We recommend removing the Planner application - if it is still in your portal.

There is a fully functional replacement.
Replacement
The "Polls" module is a fully functional replacement for the old "Planner" module.
Messages module
The "Messages" module is no longer part of the Intrexx Share application package as of Intrexx Share 3.2. Until now, the navigation item could still be added to the Intrexx Share navigation. This is now no longer the case. Officially, the application was already discontinued for Intrexx Share Version 3.0. It has now been completely removed.

There is a fully functional replacement.
Replacement
The "Chat" module is a fully functional replacement for the old "Messages" module.
"Blocked users" portlet
In previous versions, Intrexx Share users could unblock other users' posts via the "Blocked Users" portlet. This function is no longer supported as of Intrexx Share 3.2.
