Portal Login via Identity Provider

Signing in to the Intrexx portal via social media

You can allow your users to access your Intrexx portal through social networks. Users can then log in to the Intrexx portal using their Facebook or Google account, for example.

The advantage for you is that you don't have to manage login credentials for these users in Intrexx. (The user must have been created in Intrexx.) The advantage for the user is that they can use the same login credentials they use for social media to log in to the Intrexx portal.

Logging In to the Intrexx Portal via an Identity Provider

You can also grant your users access to your portal through an identity provider (ID provider). The service provided by ID providers is to make it easier for users to log in to various websites and applications. Users can register with an ID provider and then receive an ID. With this ID, you can then log in to all the websites and applications that are registered with the corresponding ID provider.
Examples of ID providers include companies such as Verimi and Okta.
Social networks also serve as ID providers. However, they also continue to offer their original services.
Both social networks and (primary) ID providers are referred to below as ID providers.

Office 365 / Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) If you use Office 365 and have access to Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), you can use it to log in to the Intrexx portal.
