Scenario 2 - Encrypted connection between the Intrexx portal server and front-end web server

Initial situation

Intrexx and the front-end web server are installed on different servers.

The Intrexx portal server and the front-end web server are usually run on the same physical or virtual server.
Even if they are operated on different servers, an encrypted connection is not necessarily required. This depends on your specific constellation.
If you are using this scenario, you must carry out the following key steps:

1. Save the certificate on the embedded Tomcat. This is included with Intrexx.

2. Add the certificate to the Windows certificate store.
