Background

Intrexx and the front-end web server are installed on different servers.

Typically, the Intrexx Portal Server and the front-end web server are run on the same physical or virtual server.
Even if they are hosted on different servers, an encrypted connection is not necessarily required. This depends on your specific situation.
If this scenario applies to you, you must follow these key steps:

1. Save the certificate on the embedded Tomcat. This is included with Intrexx.

2. Place the certificate in the Windows Certificate Store.
