Portlet

Portlets are reusable components of your portal that you can add to portal pages using drag-and-drop. Portlets are often displayed as tiles.

Some portlets, such as "Login," "Notes," and "Ticker," are available by default in every portal. You can create your own portlets by designating application pages as portlets.
