Portlet

Portlets are reusable components of your portal that you can insert on portal pages using drag-and-drop. Portlets are often displayed as tiles.

Some portlets such as "Login", "Notes" and "Ticker" are available as standard in every portal. You can create portlets yourself by marking application pages as portlets.
