Multi-tenancy

Multi-tenancy is used in information technology, when multiple tenants, meaning customers or orderers, can be served on the same server or software system without them being able to look into each other's data, user management etc.

A system does not become multi-tenant capable by creating an individual instance (copy) of the system for each tenant.
