BITV

BITV stands for "Regulation on Accessible Information Technology." The BITV is based on the WCAG guidelines. It thus establishes the framework for compliance with the WCAG in Germany.

The BITV serves as the basis for testing and auditing websites and web applications. Alternatively, or in addition, there are tests based on the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
