BITV

BITV stands for "Accessibility Information Technology Ordinance" (in German). The BITV is based on the guidelines of the WCAG. It represents the framework for compliance with WCAG in Germany.

BITV is the foundation for testing and auditing websites and web applications. Alternatively or in addition to it, tests based on the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) are available.
