Requirement
Internet access is required to download updates. If you control Internet access through a proxy server, you'll need to configure the appropriate settings here, depending on your proxy server's configuration. The connection to the proxy server can be established without authentication or using Basic authentication.
The URL for the Intrexx Update Server is: https://onlineupdate.intrexx.com
Please note that you must also configure the proxy server settings for server software updates if you want to perform an update via Portal Manager. For more information, see the " Software Update Settings" section .
Step-by-Step
To download and install an update, follow these steps:

Start the Portal Manager (Server) as an administrator.
If an update is available, you will see a notification in the lower-right corner of the Intrexx window.
You can also manually check for updates at any time.
To do this, click "Tools > Check for Software Updates...".

Click "Start Download."
The Intrexx Download Manager will start.
It downloads the files required for the update.
During the first update, synchronization with the update server may take a little longer because a full synchronization with the update server is performed.
In future updates, only the files that differ between the update server and your local installation will be downloaded. The update will only take a short time.
Once all the required files have been downloaded, the "Finish" button becomes active.

Click "Finish."
The dialog box for starting the installation appears.
Install Updates
Click the "Install Updates" button to install the downloaded update.
During installation, the Intrexx services are stopped and then restarted.
Skip version
You can choose not to install the downloaded update and thus skip the current version of Intrexx.
Open the changelog
Click the "Open Changelog" button to view the new features and other changes in the current version in the online help.

Click "Install Updates."
Please note that the Intrexx services will be stopped and then restarted during the installation of the update.
This means that your portal will be unavailable while the update is being installed.
Portal Manager (Server) closes automatically.
The setup is being validated.
This process verifies whether the files were downloaded completely and without errors.
The terms of the license agreement will be displayed.

Please read the license agreements.

Check the box labeled "I accept all terms of the license agreement."

Click "Next."
The installation is in progress.
Existing portals will be updated or patched to the new Intrexx version.
After patching the portals, the "OK" button becomes active.

Click "OK."

Click "Finish."
If you have selected the "Start Intrexx Portal Manager" checkbox, Intrexx will restart.
You will be taken to the "Finish Installation" dialog box.
