System Requirements for Intrexx 12

To use Intrexx, the following minimum requirements must be met:

Portal Server

Minimum Hardware Requirements

  • x86-compatible CPU with AMD64/EM64T extension; other platforms available upon request

  • Number of processor cores: 2

  • 8 GB of RAM

  • 5 GB of free hard drive space

Please note that files used in a portal (attachments, archives) are stored directly on the server. For example, when using a document management system, the storage space required can be many times greater.

Starting with Intrexx 12.2.0, the following processor architectures are supported:

Recommended

  • Same as the minimum requirements, but at least 4 CPU cores if Intrexx and database services are running on a single server. If there are a large number of concurrent users, the database should be run on a separate server.

  • 8 GB of RAM for Intrexx, 4–8 GB of RAM for the database server (depending on the size of the database)

SDK

Intrexx version 12.0.0 requires JDK 21. JDK 21 is included.

Web Front Ends

HTTPS

When configuring web front ends (Nginx, IIS, Apache, HAProxy, TrafficServer, etc.), you must use HTTPS as the protocol.

In general, Intrexx cannot be run in unencrypted mode or using only HTTP.

LibreOffice version 6 or later is required for manually editing templates or working with charts.

Integration of External Data Sources

In some cases, features that are normally available in applications may not be supported by a third-party data source. INTREXX GmbH provides only limited support for accessing external data, as the system environment, the configuration of the data source, the database architecture of the external data source, the underlying database drivers, and the data structure (data types) can vary significantly. Full functionality This can be assumed for the data sources supported by Intrexx.
