Request license assignment (Editor)

The purpose of license allocation is to determine the persons who will use the requested or procured software.

Step-by-step guide

To apply for a license assignment, proceed as follows:

1. Go to the "Request license assignments" page.

2. Click on "Request license assignments".

   

   The "Request license assignments" dialog box is displayed.

   

   Request license assignments for users

3. Click on "Request licenses for users" to assign licenses to users.

   The "Request licenses for users" dialog box is displayed.

   

   User

   Select the users to whom the license is to be assigned here.

   External users

   Select the external users to whom the license is to be assigned here.

   Licenses

   Select the licenses you want to assign to the user here.

   OR

   Request license packages for users

4. Click on "Request license packages for users" to assign license packages to users.

   The "Request license packages for users" dialog box is displayed.

   

   User

   Select the users to whom the license is to be assigned here.

   External users

   Select the external users to whom the license is to be assigned here.

   License packages

   Select the license package(s) you want to assign to the user here.

5. Click on "Apply".

   The requested license assignments are displayed.
