When you create an application in Intrexx, you'll need an application template.
Intrexx provides you with a range of application templates.
You can find the application templates in Intrexx in the "Applications" module ("File > New Application...").
Built-in Application Templates
The "Empty Application" and "Base Application" templates available under the "New Application menuu item are an integral part of Intrexx. After you select one of the two application templates, the application is created and opened in the "Applications" module.

Online Application Templates
In addition to the built-in application templates "Empty Application" and "Basic Application," a number of online application templates are available to you.
The online application templates are stored on a server at Intrexx. They can be accessed directly in Intrexx in the "Applications" dialog via the "Templates" menu item. This requires an Internet connection. Intrexx continuously updates the online application templates—even outside of Intrexx's regular release cycles. New application templates are being developed and are available for use in Intrexx.
You do not need to update Intrexx for newly released application templates.
When you select one of the online application templates in the "Applications" dialog box, it is first imported into your Intrexx instance. It can then be opened in the "Applications" module and used just like the built-in application templates.

Create and Share Your Own Online Application Templates
You can create your own application templates and make them available online. These templates are also available in Intrexx in the "Applications" dialog box. They can be selected from the "Directory" drop-down list.
As with the application templates provided by Intrexx, the first step is to import them. You can then open the appliqué template in the "Appliqués" module and use it just like the built-in appliqué templates.

Make Application Templates Available Locally
You can also make application templates available locally. This is a good option if the client on which you want to make online application templates available does not have an Internet connection. This is possible for both the application templates from Intrexx and your own application templates.
