Analyze log file

You can access this dialog in the "Processes" module via the main menu "Process/Analyze log file".

Open log file

Opens a dialog where a log file from a directory that the server has access to can be opened. The default directory for Intrexx log files can be found in the portal directory "/log".

Open current log file

Opens the latest log file for the current process.

Refresh log file

Refreshes the list of log entries.

"File" menu

The functions described above are also available from the File menu.

"View" menu

You can change the view to full screen here.

Type

Restricts the list of log entries to the following message types as required:

• Info

• Warning

• Errors

• Debug

Process

The list of messages can be restricted to one specific process here.

Event type

Only displays the entries for the selected event type.

Filter

You can search for terms here.

Delete filter text

Deletes the search text from the field.

Log entries

All of the log entries contained in the log file are listed here. If a log entry is selected, its content is shown at the bottom of the dialog.

"Date" column

Displays the date of the log entry.

"Process" column

The name of the process is shown here.

Event type

Displays the event type (e.g. Process started, Groovy script action).

Element

Displays the name of the process element.

"Log entry" context menu

Additional filters for the log list are available from the context menu of the individual entries.

The following menu items each open the"Details dialog, in which the information corresponding to the menu items is displayed:

Show this entry

The details of the entry are displayed in full.

Show filtered log file

All currently filtered entries are displayed in full.

Show complete log file

All entries in the log file are displayed in full.

Only show entries of this type

All entries of the same type are displayed in full.

Only show entries for this process

The entries of the currently open process are displayed.

Only show entries of this event type

All entries with the same event type are displayed in full.

Show entries for this process run

All entries that belong to a specific execution of a process (usually from process start to process end) are displayed. Log entries from elements that are deactivated during the run will be shown in gray.

Show all entries

All entries are displayed.

Details

You can access this dialog via the context menu of an entry in the"Analyze log file dialog. Log entries will be shown in text format here and can be copied to the clipboard.
