System check

This area displays the current status of the system check.

Task columnTask column

The relevant tasks that the System check can perform are listed here.

  • Deletion of old portal exports

    The directory where portal exports are stored, which you have specified in the Export tool, will be checked. If the system check finds older portal exports, you will be able to select the task. If you activate the task, a dialog will open where you can clean the export directory from older export files.

  • Archive old log files

    This module checks directories that contain log files. If you select the task, a dialog will open where the log directories can be cleaned.

  • Inspect databases for characters that cannot be exported

    This check will return characters in the portal database that cannot be exported. Please note that this check can require several minutes and should only be run if portal exports have failed. If you select the task, a dialog will open where the portals that should be checked can be selected.

Current status column

This column tells you whether the check was successful. It also informs you about the result of each of the system checks. If a task has been executed, the date of the last execution will be shown in this column.

Run system check

Starts the system check. Once the check is finished, checkboxes will be shown next to the relevant tasks. Once the check is finished, checkboxes will be shown next to the relevant tasks.

Execute tasks

With this button, you can start the tasks you have selected with the checkboxes.

Highlight all tasks

This will select all relevant tasks. Tasks whose execution is not required will not be offered for selection after the system check.

Details

Opens a dialog where information about the currently selected and executed task is shown.

Hide completed tasks

Only the tasks which have not yet been executed will be shown in the upper area.
